Meet Mrs. Taer

Mrs. Taer is well-known at EMAPS for being reliable, efficient, knowledgeable, structured, and well-organized. Her most remarkable quality is her patience, which she exercise daily as she teaches Math and Health.

“My goal first and foremost is to deliver good instruction and adequate practice to help students strengthen, learn, and develop the necessary skills in Math and Health while following the district mandated standards all throughout the course of time that they are with us. As much as possible, I am going to provide continuity on what they are expected to learn  in a traditional school setting. I will also provide opportunities for intervention to accommodate students who need them so they can successfully transition back to their regular schools.”

Mrs. Taer’s responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a Math teacher for AOP
  • Serving as a Special Educator for 8th grade Math classes,
  • Doing third party billing for students with IEP
  • Serving as a facilitators in the after school program for Math
  • Serving as a member of the Spirit Committee
Meet Mrs. Stone

Mrs. Stone is known and praised for her cheerful personality and loving spirit. She also is remarkably patient when tackling behavior problems in the classroom.

“My goal is to build comprehension and understanding in every student that enters my classroom. In addition, my goal is to help students to develop the necessary tools to be successful in any school environment. My hope is that students will leave EMAPS success in their minds and love in their hearts.”

Mrs. Stone’s responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Art, Technology, and English Language Arts
  • Serving as EMAPS ELA Rep
  • Serving as the School Newsletter Editor
  • Serving as EMAPS IEP Go-to
  • Serving as a member of the Administrative Team
  • Serving as a member of the Hospitality Committee.
